Training Path
Empowering people with disabilities through structured information technology training and certification.
Anyone who is interested in signing up for training at the IAC is required to undergo consultation and assessment for assistive technology (A T). A range of A T equipment is available for loan at the A T Loan Library for those found to require A T equipment to assist them in using the computer.
The IAC provides training in foundational I T skills for an enhanced quality of life, and in generic I T skills to equip people with disabilities for the workplace. Trainees who eventually go under the I T Apprenticeship Programme can also stand to gain specialised information communication technology skills useful in open employment.
