Facilities

The Infocomm Accessibility Centre (IAC) is located in the SPD Ability Centre. IAC has three computer labs equipped with assistive technology such as height-adjustable tables and audio projection systems to make learning for people with disabilities easier.

Microsoft Unlimited Potential Technology Lab

The Microsoft Unlimited Potential Technology Lab is at level 2 of the SPD Ability Centre. It holds 15 DELL Core 2 Duo computers fitted with Windows Vista (Business Edition), Microsoft Office 2007 applications and Adobe Creative Suite 3 (Master Collection). Additional software such as Window Eyes screen-reader and ZoomText software are included in the computers for users with low vision and people with visual impairments.

Computer Lab 2

Located at level 2, Computer Lab 2 shares a similar configuration with the Microsoft Unlimited Potential Technology Lab. The computers are also installed with JAWS screen-reader software and MAGIC software for users with low vision and people with visual impairments.

Computer Lab 3

Computer Lab 3 is located at level 4 and it holds 20 computers installed with Windows XP and Microsoft Office 2003 applications.
