The IAC is equipped with assistive technology devices and software for those who may need them to attend classes. An assessment will be carried out by our in-house Assistive Technology team to help you choose a suitable assistive technology device.

IAC trainees can visit the online SPD Assistive Technology Loan Library page, where a wide range of computer adaptive devices such as the following are available for home loan and trial:

  • Alternate computer keyboards
  • Alternative mouse
  • High-tech augmentative and alternative communication devices
  • Switches for accessing the computer and augmentative and alternative communication devices
  • Software for people with disabilities
  • Equipment for people with low vision and who are blind
